What is Forma?
Forma is non-surgical, skin tightening and elasticity treatment to improve skin laxity, fine lines and wrinkles. It administers radiofrequency, which is a thermal energy (heat), to the deep layer of the skin, which stimulates the tissue to create collagen and contract. The energy is administered uniformly through the electrodes, allowing all areas treated to be corrected evenly. Some notice results right away, however, best results are noted from 3 months up to 1 year out, as collagen production is a long-term process.
Who can be treated with Forma?
This procedure is safe for all types of skin and skin tones. There is no down time with this procedure and it can be used on the face and body!
What area does Forma treat?
This procedure can be done on the face and body! Think cheeks, jowls, neck, knees, elbows, hands, anywhere where one wants to lift and tighten the skin.
What can I expect on the day of treatment?
Arrive 5 minutes prior to treatment to complete paperwork, and then you will be brought into your room and treatment will begin right away. No numbing is required, as this procedure should be painless. If you are feeling significantly hot or feel burning during the treatment, please let your provider know right away.
