For those of you who I haven’t had the pleasure of meeting, my name is Kelsie, and I am one of our Licensed Estheticians here at L Aesthetics & Longevity. I primarily work out of our Bee Cave location, however I occasionally might see you at one of our other 3 locations as well. I have been with L Aesthetics for almost 2 years, and I absolutely love being a part of this team.
Growing Up
I am proud to say that I can call myself one 
of the few “Austinites” left. I was born in Austin, and then spent most of my childhood and teenage years in Leander, Texas with my parents and one older brother. I did many different activities growing up including cheer, softball, drill team, gymnastics, and FFA. I was extremely active in FFA (Future Farmers of America) all throughout high school. In that program, I raised livestock, competed in leadership and career development events, and served as a chapter and district officer. Being a part of that organization really helped me build skills I use in my daily life and career.
Becoming an Esthetician
Although agriculture was a really big part of my life, I did not find it to be my professional dream. I always found myself more drawn to the medical field for my actual career. After I graduated from High School, I started taking classes at Austin Community College to prepare myself for entering some sort of career within that until I decided exactly what I wanted to do. I toyed around with the idea of becoming an ultrasound technician, radiation therapist, and a registered nurse. I just wasn’t sure if the hospital life was exactly for me.
I have always had a passion for helping people, and love making them feel beautiful. Growing up, I didn’t know much about the Aesthetics industry, but skincare and facial treatments always intrigued me. This is when I started to explore my options, and found that being an Esthetician at a Med Spa was the perfect balance between both.
I graduated from Avenue Five Institute and got my license as an Esthetician. While still in school, I attended a few trainings at L Aesthetics as a student. I then got offered a job here after I graduated along with Mary, who most of you probably know, and we have been here ever since.
My Life Outside of Work
In my free time, you can typically find me spending time with my family and friends, or my fur baby. Beau is a 3 year old German Shorthaired Pointer, and the absolute light of my life. In addition to that, I also enjoy doing pretty much anything outdoors, on the water, or with live music. My faith is also a very important part of my life, so I stay active with my church as much as possible.
