Bikini Season

Written by: Katie Ladner, L.E,

Tis the season to start working on your body contouring goals before we are in bikini season.

At L Aesthetics we have various types of body contouring treatments such as the famous Cool Sculpt Elite treatment, to EmSculpt and Evolve. Right now you might be saying what are all these treatments, how do they work and why should I give them a try? So let me break them down for you to help you make the right decision for your body type or goals.

CoolSculpting® Elite are FDA-cleared for the treatment of visible fat bulges in the submental (under the chin) and submandibular (under the jawline) areas, thigh, abdomen, and flank, along with bra fat, back fat, underneath the buttocks (also known as banana roll), and upper arm. It is also FDA-cleared to affect the appearance of lax tissue with submental area treatments. CoolSculpting’s fat-freezing technology gives long-term results that make trouble spots a lot less troubling.* Fat cells don’t like the cold and at a certain temperature they will freeze. Once that happens, your body will naturally eliminate the dead cells in 1-3 months or more, resulting in up to 20%-25% reduction of fat in a treated area.

EMSculpt  is an FDA-cleared body-sculpting procedure that builds muscle and burns fat. It delivers high-intensity focused electromagnetic energy (HIFEM) pulses to the muscle tissue, creating supramaximal muscle contractions that activate more muscle fibers than what you can achieve through normal exercise.

This nonsurgical treatment can tighten, tone, and strengthen the large muscle groups of the abdomen and buttocks as well as of smaller body areas, including the upper arms, thighs, and calves. The result is increased muscle definition and reduced circumference.

Evolve is an innovative hands-free solution that maximizes patient results and provides the highest quality of aesthetic treatments available. This all-in-one platform delivers multiple technologies on one system to remodel skin, target adipose tissue and tone muscles.

Evolve Tite  harnesses the power of RF energy to remodel skin and improve its appearance. The 8 hands-free applicators deliver uniform and volumetric heating to the skin & sub-dermal layer, to provide customized pain-free patient solutions.

Evolve Trim offers 6 hands-free applicators which deliver RF energy and a tissue vacuum. The patented technology delivers a uniform thermal effect to the deepest layers of subcutaneous fat to provide the maximum results.

Evolve Tone works by emitting electrical muscle stimulation (EMS) to simulate involuntary muscle contractions. Tone’s 4 hands-free applicators target specific muscle groups to refine the appearance and strength of the muscle.

Now that you have some more knowledge on body contouring machine and what we offer I would like to go over that these are not one time treatments. Most of these machines are meant to be used in a series to achieve maximum results. Some are weekly sessions and some are monthly sessions depending on the device. I also like to tell my clients that in order to achieve results, a good clean diet and exercise should be done in conjunction. Don’t forget we have the amazing BodiFirm lotion by Revision Skincare. This amazing lotion can be used anywhere on the body. It’s clinically proven to help visibly firm, tighten and lift sagging, crepey skin in order to sculpt and tone the body.

  • Helps to firm, tighten and lift the appearance of skin for a more toned and sculpted look
  • Improves the appearance of thin, crepey skin
  • Helps improve the appearance of sun damage and overall skin health
  • Restores hydration and helps support the skin’s moisture barrier
