Can smoothies make your skin glow?!

This recipe is full of vitamins C and E, which protect against skin damage, help with inflammation, reduce the appearance of wrinkles and play a vital role in the body’s natural production of collagen. Read on for a list of all the yummy ingredients.

Apple-Apples make the smoothie sweet and refreshing. They are high in Vitamin A, B, and C and contain lots of antioxidants.
Kale-A great way to get greens in that you might not already be eating. Kale is rich in fiber, antioxidants, calcium, vitamin K and C.

Lemon– draws out toxins, highly alkaline, helping to regulate body’s natural pH level, contains many antioxidants, rich in vitamin C
Spinach– high in protein and helps in the creation of new red blood cells
Avocado– Is a healthy source of fats, Vitamin E and Iron. Avocado makes the smoothie really filling. Try frozen bananas to make it extra creamy.

Healthy Skin Green Smoothie Recipe

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups water or almond milk
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 apple chopped
  • 1 banana chopped(frozen for extra creaminess)
  • 1 cups spinach
  • 1 cup kale
  • 1 tsp maca powder
  • 1 tsp Hum Nutrition Raw Green Powder
  • 1/2 avocado (frozen for extra creaminess)

Mix all ingredients in a blender and enjoy!
