What is Votiva by InMode?
Votiva is a treatment that helps provide rejuvenation for both external and internal vaginal issues. The Votiva system is approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for treatment of sexual dysfunction as well as in combination with Kegel exercises for tightening of the muscles of the pelvic floor to increase muscle tone. In addition to helping with blood flow and sensitivity, Votiva can help with elasticity and wrinkles on the labia and vulva, without the need for painful surgery or significant downtime.
The InMode Votiva platform has a variety of indications. It helps with urinary incontinence, dyspareunia, vaginal dryness, vaginal irritation, perineal scarring from childbirth, and vaginal laxity. It has also been helpful with pelvic floor dysfunction.
What should I expect from a Votiva treatment and is there any downtime?
It is completely painless! You can expect to feel a warming sensation during your Votiva sessions. There is very little downtime associated with Votiva. We will ask you to abstain from intercourse for 72 hours following treatment and avoid hot tubs, p ools, and bathtubs for 3 days following. After that, you can resume all normal activities.
When will I see the results of my Votiva treatments?
Patients report immediate changes even after one 30 minute treatment session. Every Votiva treatment is personally tailored to your specific concerns and goals, but most women benefit from three sessions spaced 4-6 weeks apart. Your results are best maintained with yearly or semi-annual maintenance treatments.
How much is Votiva?
Votiva treatments can range from $1000 to $3000 depending on if you buy them individually or in a package. For ideal results a package of three sessions is recommended.
