How to choose the right body contouring treatment for you
The Body Contouring market is growing fast and continues to evolve with new devices entering this competitive space within the Medical Spa industry. Most of these devices claim to achieve very similar results, often leaving potential patients confused and overwhelmed. So how do interested individuals know which device(s) to choose, where to to go, what questions to ask, if they are even a candidate, and results might look like? The intention here is to educate patient’s looking to invest in these treatments to feel more educated and capable of playing a more active role in the decision-making process, along with their selected provider(s).
CoolSculpting is the world’s number one fat reduction device on the market. Question to ask yourself when thinking about CoolSculpting…can I pinch the area(s) I’m looking to get treated? If so, CoolSculpting could be right for you. CoolSculpting is designed to treat subcutaneous fat and is not a great treatment option for visceral fat. This treatment utilizes cryolipolysis to freeze fat cells, causing a 20-25% reduction in volume each and every treatment. In early 2021 Allergan launched CoolSculpting Elite, the new and improved fat destruction treatment.
